Hello,
This is the first podcast episode where I talk about “the drop off point” and Gravity and Grace by Simone Weil.
& a poem as a little treat
Key
Sometimes you can keep a sentence in your pocket for three seasons and not know what it means. Then it is winter and you are at your desk with a real candle chandelier lit from your summer job at the vintage store you lived on top of. A gift from your boss that would berate you like a father and who you would ignore like a daughter until he offered you pasta bolognese that he made at home. An offering to the altar of apology like fruit on a plate that requires only an acceptance to wash the whole thing over. After all this, after spring, summer and fall, you will be at your desk in another apartment and the sentence that you have been clutching for three seasons, will be the key you needed to open the room you have been pacing outside of.
She is in the exact same position as I write this.
Talk soon!
