I did a ritual cleaning of my studio the other day. I have been in an era of re-commiting to a novel project. After a month that felt very low energy, I decided to deep clean my studio to signify this new chapter with my art.

I have also wanted to start doing tarot card readings again. I stopped because people would often ask me what the future held, and also if they were okay (the answer is always yes). I don’t think that is the best use of tarot cards. To me, they are a story-telling tool that gives you helpful (and frighteningly accurate), info about the present moment, and allows you to get a clearer picture of where you are at and how to move forward. I believe in honesty and absolutely will not fear monger (I have no tolerance for tarot card fear mongering).
